All you have to do is open the app and tap or click on the gear icon. You can also remove all the songs in your library.

These steps apply to both the mobile and desktop apps. It will turn gray, indicating the download is removed. You can delete the songs you have downloaded. Say you chose the wrong song/album to download or want to clear up some space. That’s all you need to do to listen to your favorite music on your computer.

Once the arrow turns green, the album is successfully downloaded.

You’ll find it at the top next to the heart icon.

Then go to the album you want to download.

The steps on your PC are similar and just as easy to follow: If you’re low on space, you might want to select “Normal,” especially if you plan on downloading many songs. You have four choices available, ranging from low to very high quality. Spotify lets you choose the quality of the songs you download.

Once your song is downloaded, the arrow button will appear green.

Add the song to your playlist first, or you can like the song if you don’t want to start a playlist.

You can also download individual songs if you like. Here’s how it’s done: If you want to check to ensure your selected music has been downloaded successfully, or if you want to start listening to your music right away, go to “Your Library.” Then, click on the “Downloaded” option at the top of the app (it’s s located on the right-hand side next to artists). Once you tap that, it will turn green and download the songs in the playlist.

Tap the playlist or album you want to download.

Go to “Your Library” in the bottom-right corner of the app.
